Supporting the National Society of Apprentices Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament supports the work of the National Society of Apprentices Scotland; recognises that apprentices have rights, needs and ambitions as both learners and workers; commends NUS Scotland for creating the National Society of Apprentices Scotland in early 2014 to represent the apprentice voice in the sector and beyond; celebrates the National Society of Apprentices Scotland for giving apprentices tools to take ownership of their learning and for embedding citizenship education into the modern apprentice programme, and congratulates the members of the society for driving policy changes that improve their lives and the lives of other young learners at the national level.
