Congratulations to Jamie McLeod and Ewan Redpath
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jamie McLeod and Ewan Redpath from Madras College on winning the Law Society of Scotland's Donald Dewar Memorial Debating Tournament; notes that Jamie and Ewan debated the motion, This House Would Restrict Media Coverage of Terrorist Attacks; understands that, as well as winning the tournament trophy, they received £1,000 for their school from the Law Society of Scotland; understands that the tournament was established in 1999 and is the largest annual schools debating tournament and is open to pupils in all Scottish secondary schools, and wishes both Jamie and Ewan the best of luck for the future.
