Birse Community Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Birse Community Trust in Aberdeenshire West on its award of £14,000 from the Scottish Land Fund; understands that the trust’s intention is to use the funds to acquire 12 more acres of the Slewdrum Forest in order to improve its management; acknowledges that the Scottish Land Fund supports rural communities and provides support and funding to Aberdeenshire residents; congratulates the trust on its achievement, and wishes it the best for the future.
