Heritage Lottery Fund Award
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that the project, Scotland’s National Parks: The Mountains and The People, has been awarded £3,260,000 by the Heritage Lottery Fund; understands that this project is seeking to preserve the increasingly threatened habitats on Scotland’s mountains and will develop a relationship between Scotland’s two national parks, the Cairngorms and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs, and provide training and volunteer opportunities; congratulates the project on receiving the award, and wishes it all the best in its efforts to protect Scotland’s national parks.
