Robotic Pharmacy Kiosk
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the University of Aberdeen’s trial of a robotic pharmacy kiosk in Inverallochy in Aberdeenshire; believes that the work of Scotland’s estimated 4,000 qualified pharmacists is vital in providing non-emergency advice for minor ailments; understands that such technology, through the use of a videolink, has the potential to bring the expertise of a pharmacist closer to the homes of rural residents throughout Scotland, and thanks the team at the University of Aberdeen for bringing the e-pharmacy trial to the north-east of Scotland.
