Thanking Oil and Gas UK
The motion
That the Parliament thanks Oil and Gas UK for what it considers its generous contribution to the Pound for Piper Memorial Trust; understands that it has donated over £185,000 toward the upkeep of the North Sea Memorial Garden in Aberdeen; commends the efforts of the Pound for Piper Memorial Trust in providing a garden place for reflection and remembrance in memory of the harrowing Piper Alpha disaster, and applauds what it sees as the massive boost that the Oil and Gas UK donation will be to funding the upkeep of the garden.
