Drumpellier Allotments Society Raises Money for Macmillan Cancer Support
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges what it sees as the excellent fundraising work of the Drumpellier Allotments Society in Coatbridge in hosting its second successful annual coffee morning, which raised £848.10 and allowed people of all ages to enjoy the allotments; understands that the dedication and hard work of the society in organising this annual event for the charity will provide much-needed funds to help Macmillan Nurses continue to support people and their families to cope with a cancer diagnosis, and congratulates the society on raising £1,300 at its fundraising dance earlier in 2015 to bring the total raised for Macmillan Cancer Support this year to £2,148.10.
