Congratulations to NHS Lanarkshire and Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates NHS Lanarkshire and Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland on their success at the 2015 Alliance Self Management Awards, which were held in the Parliament on 30 September 2015; notes that the partnership was given the award for Self Management Partnership of the Year; considers that this award is recognition for the contribution that the link-up between the two organisations makes to the daily lives of people with heart conditions in Lanarkshire; considers this award a worthy accolade given the success of the partnership's efforts to educate carers on new technologies to deliver a better service for patients; notes that the courses devised by the partnership are designed to empower staff and patients by building both confidence and knowledge; congratulates all staff and volunteers involved on the recognition of their success, and wishes the partnership between NHS Lanarkshire and Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland every success in the future.
