Congratulations to Parklands Group
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Parklands Group on being named Outstanding Performing Business (25+ employees) at the Highland Business Awards; welcomes what it understands was the recognition given to its committed staff by Ron Taylor, the business's managing director, when he was presented with the award; believes that it employs almost 500 people across the Highlands and Moray; understands that it plans to open a care home in Fortrose in light of the success of the homes that it opened in Tain and Muir of Ord in 2014; believes that the Highlands has a higher proportion of people aged 65 to 74 than the rest of Scotland and that this demographic is expected to increase; considers this award to be recognition of the commitment shown by the Parklands Group’s staff and management to provide high-quality care home accommodation, and wishes everyone connected with the business continued success.
