Tron St Mary's 50th Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the Church of Tron St Mary's, which is located on Red Road in Balornock, Glasgow; considers that the church and its congregation have played an important part in the life of the local community during that time, providing support to parents with young children, activities for teenagers, the development of community green space and support to many newly arrived asylum seekers; congratulates Reverend Rhona McDonald, the parish workers and volunteers on the work that they do in the community, and considers that Tron St Mary's really is the little church with the big heart.
