Welcoming McGill’s Buses' Commitments to Young People
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates McGill’s Buses on its commitment to extend the validity of the child’s all day ticket from 7pm to 10pm; further welcomes McGill’s commitment to offer those with a Young Scot Card discounted travel; commends what it considers the quick action of the managing director, Ralph Roberts, to address these issues when brought to his attention; understands that this offers greater flexibility for constituents in Renfrewshire South and across Scotland; congratulates Osama Nadeem MSYP for his campaigning efforts on behalf of young people to ensure that they do not miss out on discounted bus fares, and recognises the Scottish Youth Parliament’s commitment to ensuring that young people are heard by Scotland's decision-makers.
