Scottish Thistle Regional Awards in the Visitor Attraction Industry
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all of the businesses in the visitor attraction industry in the Aberdeenshire West constituency that are shortlisted for the Scottish Thistle regional awards; recognises Drum Castle for being shortlisted as the Best Visitor Attraction; commends Crathie Opportunity Holidays and Deeside Activity Park/ Cairnton Farm for being shortlisted as the Best Holiday Accommodation; notes Deeside Activity Park’s second shortlisted nomination for the Best Outdoor/ Adventure Experience; recognises the Banchory Beer Festival and the Lonach Highland Games and Gathering for being shortlisted for the Best Cultural Event or festival; understands that these businesses provide exciting activities that promote tourism in the area, and wishes Drum Castle, Crathie Opportunity Holidays, Deeside Activity Park, Banchory Beer Festival and the Lonach Highland Games and Gathering the best of luck for the final.
