Friends of Alexandra Park
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Friends of Alexandra Park on the launch of its plan to improve Glasgow’s Alexandra Park; encourages the community group’s efforts which, it understands, will restore a public park for the benefit of Glasgow’s citizens; commends the group’s commitment to making a positive contribution to their community by supporting public parks and open spaces; understands that the Friends of Alexandra Park is the 32nd friends-of group to be established in the city; appreciates the positive impact that the groups have on Glasgow’s communities, and wishes them continued success in their improvement work.
