The Solway Estuary Haaf-netters
The motion
As an amendment to motion S4M-14806 in the name of Joan McAlpine (The Solway Estuary Haaf-netters), insert at end “, and recognises the serious concerns of haaf-netters and anglers on the rivers Annan and Nith regarding the Scottish Government’s proposed wild salmon conservation measures, which, it understands, they believe will end haaf-netting on the Solway and seriously damage both the income of small angling clubs and the local economy”.
