Action for Children's 60th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament notes that Action for Children is celebrating its 60th anniversary in Scotland; recognises the contribution that it has made to supporting and speaking out for Scotland’s most vulnerable and neglected children and young people, and highlights the organisation's achievements in Scotland including operating 90 services, campaigning to improve policy and legislative developments over a wide range of areas including child protection, youth justice, disability, housing support and homelessness, and working in partnership with local authorities and other agencies to ensure that all young Scots have the best chance to fulfil their potential and make the most of their lives.
