North Tourism Business Winners
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Applecross Inn, Kylesku Hotel and North Highland Initiative on winning their categories at the recent Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards; notes that Applecross Inn in Wester Ross was deemed by the judges to be the friendliest pub/bar and the Kylesku Hotel in Sutherland the most hospitable hotel; further congratulates David Whiteford and Clair Farquhar who accepted the Innovation Award for creating the North Coast 500 road route, which is designed to attract visitors to venues such as those of the other winners, and wishes them well in the national finals of the Scottish Thistle Awards in 2016.
