Glasgow’s Best Bar None 2015 Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the organisers of the Glasgow’s Best Bar None 2015 awards; understands that the awards were established to recognise professionalism, good practice and a commitment to safety and customer care in the entertainment sector and that, this year, a record number of awards were presented to pubs, clubs and other venues; notes that Best Bar None also provides training on drug prevention, responsible drinking, crime scene preservation and other subjects; congratulates all of the nominees and winners, including the Merchant City-based Bar Home, which won the People’s Choice Award for the third year in a row; believes that the awards demonstrate the outstanding performance of the city's entertainment sector, including a commitment to residents and visitors being able to enjoy themselves in a safe environment, and hopes that the winners achieve further success at the Best Bar None Scotland national awards.
