Thanks to Dumfries and Galloway's Major Emergency Team
The motion
That the Parliament thanks Dumfries and Galloway’s Major Emergency Team, which consists of officers from Dumfries and Galloway Council, Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for their prompt action over 5-6 December 2015 to alleviate flooding in Dumfries and Annandale and Eskdale and considers that the presence of officers and “flood pods” was of considerable reassurance to residents in affected areas of Dumfriesshire.
