Overtown Community Nursery and Parents and Toddlers
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Overtown Community Nursery and Parents and Toddlers Group on receiving a grant of £10,000 from the Big Lottery Communities and Family Fund; understands that the group, which provides play activities for 2½ to 5½-year-olds, will use the funding to provide activities and new equipment for its nursery; considers that the Communities and Families Fund, a grants programme funded jointly by Scottish Government and the Big Lottery Fund in Scotland, aims to support projects that help communities give local children the best start in life, and wishes the group well in its future endeavours.
