Welcome Boost to Fullarton Community Centre
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Fullarton Community Centre, which has received £1.12 million from the Big Lottery Fund; understands that the money is to be used to regenerate Fullarton and replace the existing community centre with a new building that will include designated youth club space, training kitchen, community cafe, multi-purpose hall, community garden, games area, informal meeting areas and office space, as well as housing a relocated doctor’s surgery and pharmacy; considers and welcomes that the new hub will benefit over 3,200 residents of the Fullarton and Harbourside areas of Irvine, and wishes the Fullarton Community Centre and its staff all the best for the future and with this exciting project.
