Glasgow Taxis Lend an Ear for Mental Health Awareness
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that taxis in Glasgow will be out in force on 1 February 2016 spreading the message that it is good to listen; understands that this is a part of national Breathing Space Day, along with the launch of Scotland’s Year of Listening campaign; notes that Glasgow Taxis has partnered up with Breathing Space and Living Life mental health telephone services to highlight the importance of listening for good mental health; believes that it is crucial for people to look after their mental wellbeing, and thanks Glasgow Taxis, Breathing Space and Living Life for raising awareness of the importance of listening and for the positive work that it considers they are doing to support mental health.
