Big Lottery Fund Scotland Support for Edinburgh Southern Projects
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that the Big Lottery Fund Scotland awarded £11,000,000 to a number of community projects and organisations in the Edinburgh Southern constituency between January 2006 and November 2015; notes that the Big Lottery Fund provides large and small grants to various projects impacting health, education, environment and charitable purposes; recognises that the fund awards grants not only in Edinburgh Southern and understands that it funded 1,833 projects across Scotland in 2015; congratulates the Big Lottery Fund on continuing its funding of what it considers vital community projects and helping communities and people most in need, and wishes it success in taking forward its transformative work in the years to come.
