Alcohol Focus Scotland Launches Community Toolkit
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the launch of Alcohol Focus Scotland’s (AFS) community toolkit, entitled Alcohol licensing in your community: how you can get involved; notes that the toolkit is a new resource designed to help anyone who would like to play a role in how alcohol affects their community; understands that the toolkit will help explain the licensing process in Scotland and provide practical tips to people wanting to get involved; notes that AFS works to reduce alcohol-related harm to individuals, families and communities across Scotland through campaigning for evidence-based alcohol policies and delivering effective training courses for, among others, employers, employees, teachers, licensors and volunteers on alcohol helplines, and wishes AFS well in rolling out its toolkit in communities throughout Scotland.
