New Chair Announced for VisitScotland
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the appointment of the new chair of VisitScotland, Viscount John Thurso; considers that Viscount Thurso brings with him valuable insight in the tourism industry, gained from his significant and successful experiences in it, which saw him become Europe’s youngest five-star hotel manager at the age of 27; wishes him all the best in his new and important role at VisitScotland, and looks forward to the Scottish tourism sector growing and attracting more visitors from around the globe.
