Gold Award for Aberdeen Soroptimists
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the members of the Aberdeen branch of the Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland Club on being presented with the Gold Award for Volunteering by the Lord Provost of Aberdeen; understands that soroptimists worldwide believe in working together to transform the lives of women and girls; notes that the Aberdeen branch has organised many successful charity events in the city and performs important voluntary work; commends the work of this exemplary organisation, and wishes its members continued success in their work.
