PKAVS Awarded £10,563 by the Asda Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates PKAVS in Perth on receiving £10,563 of funding from the Asda Foundation; acknowledges that PKAVS is a charity that was established in the 1970s to support people living in Perth and Kinross to improve their wellbeing and realise their potential; understands that, working with partners, including Perth and Kinross Council and NHS Tayside, PKAVS directly supports over 5,000 people each year; considers that the funding will allow the charity's Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub to refurbish its café in Perth’s Walled Garden, which has a strong focus on recovery, as well as providing support and opportunities for people with mental illness; believes that the refurbishment will make the café more accessible and enable the hub to be more inviting to all, and wishes everyone involved the very best of luck and continued success.
