10th Anniversary of Edinburgh Street Pastors
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Edinburgh Street Pastors on its 10th anniversary; understands that, since being established in 2009, the group, which listens to, cares for and helps people on the streets of the capital, has grown from four to 20 churches, with over 50 volunteers patrolling the city on Friday and Saturday nights; acknowledges that the pastors are all Christians who seek to demonstrate and share their faith with others, from helping people get back to their home to signposting others with poor mental health, and wishes it every continued success.
