Cambusbarron Community Litter Pick
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the 30 volunteers, aged from three to 70, from Cambusbarron Community Council, Cambusbarron Development Trust, Save Gillies Hill, Cambusbarron Primary School and Bruce Memorial Church, on their litter pick and junk collection on 1 June 2019; notes that their 2½ hours of cleaning resulted in the collection of almost half a ton of rubbish, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment; further notes the efforts of the community in previous years, which led to the winning of the Outstanding Village accolade in the Keep Scotland Beautiful Awards for the fourth consecutive year, and wishes the community and its volunteers all the best, including for future litter picks.
