Play Opportunities in Schools
The motion
That the Parliament regrets the omission of play from the consultation on the proposed Schools (Nutrition and Health Promotion) Bill and believes that the Scottish Executive should develop a policy in which schools encourage play opportunities, review the form and use of school playgrounds and explain the importance of play as part of the school day to pupils, staff and the local community.
