ChildLine Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates ChildLine on its 20th birthday nationally and its 16 years in Scotland; supports the valuable counselling and outreach work which is offered so that children have a place to turn for advice and support; recognises that over the course of its 16 years ChildLine Scotland has counselled 370,700 children and advised around 15,000 adults; acknowledges that the service would not happen without the expertise and time commitment of more than 1,300 volunteers, and calls for people to support ChildLine in Scotland as it goes from strength to strength.
