Congratulations to the HOPE Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Helping Older People Evolve (HOPE) project, which is part of the Community Led Action and Support Project, on receiving £562,512 from the Big Lottery Fund; understands that this money will be used to expand existing provision, further developing lunch clubs and financial advice and guidance and the introduction of new services, including a morning call service and activity classes; notes that the project expects to support 2,000 older people, with 200 of them benefiting from a more intensive and bespoke service that is designed to tackle isolation and loneliness felt by many older people, and wishes the project the best of luck and every success in the future.
