Congratulations to Isabel Lind for Receiving the Lifetime Achievement Teaching Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Isabel Lind, head teacher at Aileymill Primary School in Inverclyde, who has been named as the UK winner of the Ted Wragg Award for Lifetime Achievement at the Pearson Teaching Awards: notes that the award organisers described Mrs Lind as a remarkable school leader and a tenacious character; understands that she was chosen from 66 finalists and from a record 24,000 nominations; praises her energy, commitment and creativity after 40 years in the profession; commends her community spirit and her desire to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential; and wishes her every success for the future.
