Social Enterprise Winners
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all the applicants who were shortlisted for the annual Social Enterprise Awards Scotland 2013 and particularly the winners, which included Link Group Ltd in the Social Enterprise of the Year category, the Fun Factory in the One to Watch category, North Lanarkshire Council on winning the Social Enterprise Market Builder award, Simply Play on winning the Innovation for Product or Service award and the Calman Trust for Education and Training and Big Kids Enterprises (Armadale Primary School) on winning the Education and Training award for building social enterprises in schools; also recognises the increasing contribution that it considers social enterprise plays in creating jobs, boosting regeneration and economic growth, delivering public services and changing lives and in improving the environment across Scotland, and looks forward to celebrating with the winners on 6 November 2013 at an awards ceremony in the Parliament.
