Congratulations to the Young Community Champions of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dale Young, Scott Hindmarsh and David Loughlin, from Woodwynd, who are volunteers with Ayrshire Communities Education and Sport, on winning the RBS Young Community Champion of the Year award; understands that for the past three years they have helped to coach and run community football teams for children; notes that, during the summer holidays, they have organised sessions with children on the subject of knife crime using the No Knives, Better Lives initiative and have helped to deliver recycling, environmental, safety, fitness and other projects; notes that Dale, Scott and David have been invited to Downing Street on 28 November 2013 to meet the Prime Minister and that they will also help to turn on Kilwinning's Christmas lights, and wishes them every success.
