Angus Ambassador Awards
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the Angus Ambassador Awards in which John Paterson from the Montrose Port Authority was named Angus Ambassador of the Year and Hydrus Engineering Ltd and the Caledonian Railway won the Business Angus and Community Angus awards respectively; understands that the role of an Angus ambassador is to take, and where possible, develop opportunities to promote positively Angus both in and outside the county, and believes that this can be done on many levels, including talking Angus up as an ideal business destination, place to work, live in or visit and adopting the Angus Scotland brand on products, literature or promotional material.
