Recognising Fort William as a First Class Visitor Destination
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes what it considers the terrific news that Fort William has been named as one of the top 10 UK towns where you are most likely to find a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award winner; notes that the awards celebrate hospitality excellence and are given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor; believes that this accolade is justified due to the high standard and availability of restaurants and hotels in the area; recognises the importance of Fort William to the Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch tourist industry; congratulates those establishments that helped TripAdvisor come to its decision, and considers that establishments in Fort William will continue to provide the high quality service to which locals and visitors have become accustomed.
