New Chief Executive at Oil & Gas UK
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Deirdre Michie on her appointment as the new chief executive of Oil & Gas UK; understands that Deirdre Michie, who will take up the role on 1 May 2015, has had a career in the oil and gas industry for almost 30 years; considers that she brings significant experience to this leadership role in what are important times for the offshore oil and gas industry; wishes Deirdre well in her new position, and thanks the outgoing chief executive, Malcolm Webb, for his services in the role.
