20 Years of Food Train in Dumfries
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Food Train on its 20th anniversary in Dumfries; believes that, over that period, it has made 228,000 grocery deliveries to older people worth £6.77 million as a result of 631,000 hours of volunteering; notes that the anniversary has been celebrated by a number of events, including an anniversary party at Hetland Hall in Dumfries for customers, directors, volunteers and staff and a reception organised by Dumfries and Galloway Council, and wishes Food Train in Dumfries every success over the next 20 years.
