Funding Success for American Football in Dunfermline
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Carnegie American Football Club on being granted £8,566 from the Awards for All Scotland element of the Big Lottery Fund; understands that this will be used to buy equipment as well as set up a new flag football league for Dunfermline’s high schools; commends the fund on recognising what it considers an underpromoted sport; believes that the award will give Dunfermline’s young people a chance to try a new activity and keep fit, and wishes the club all the best.
