Scottish Children's Book Awards 2016
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the authors shortlisted for the Scottish Children's Book Awards 2016 on 2 September 2015; notes that the shortlist is split into three age categories, Bookbug Readers (3 to 7), Younger Readers (8 to 11) and Older Readers (12 to 16) and that children in Scotland will vote for the winning book in each of the three categories; understands that 28,000 children voted in the book awards last year, and encourages as many children as possible to participate in this year's awards.
