Congratulations to Beith Community Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Beith Community Development Trust on securing a £512,200 award from the Scottish Land Fund; understands that the money will be used to purchase the former Geilsland House and school campus and bring the 5.2 hectare site into community ownership, and believes that the trust hopes to position the campus as the "Gateway to North Ayrshire", providing new job opportunities and delivering a range of economic activities, including a range of accommodation and business support as well as start-up and incubator units.
