Parenting Across Scotland 10th Anniversary Campaign

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes Parenting across Scotland’s 10th anniversary campaign, which was launched on 29 September 2015 and is aimed at encouraging mums and dads across Scotland to share parenting "top tips"; understands that the dedicated social media campaign, available on Twitter via #toptips, will run for four weeks and is aimed at increasing access to trusted parenting advice and support; understands that Parenting across Scotland has developed a series of evidence-based but down to earth top tip advice guides, in partnership with experts including Sleep Scotland, Health Respect and Play Scotland and fully road-tested by parents, on getting through some of the trickier times of childhood and adolescence; notes calls for parents across Scotland, nurseries, playgroups, childminders, charities and others to join in by sharing their own parenting tips over the course of the campaign; congratulates Parenting across Scotland once again on its 10th anniversary and on celebrating the people at the centre of its work, and hopes that the top tips campaign is successful in reaching out to parents and carers in Dunfermline, Fife and right across Scotland.
