Macmillan Cancer Patient Survey
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the launch of Macmillan Cancer Support's first-ever national cancer patient experience on 10 October 2015; notes that it will involve people who have had a confirmed cancer diagnosis between July 2013 and March 2014; further notes that the survey will ask patients questions such as how they felt about the way that they were told about their diagnosis, whether they understood the information provided about their treatment and whether they had confidence and trust in the staff treating them; hopes that all patients involved will complete the survey, and believes that the results will help to shape the future direction of cancer care in Scotland.
