Big Energy Savings Week
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the work carried out by Angus Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) during Big Energy Savings Week 2015 in helping Angus residents check, switch and save on their energy bills; notes that Angus CAB will be holding local community events throughout Big Energy Savings Week from 26 October that will assist people in Angus in checking their energy bills and provide information on how to save money and make their homes more energy efficient; congratulates Angus CAB on becoming a Big Energy Savings Week Gold Partner, one of only four awarded in Scotland, due to its continued commitment to supporting people living in fuel poverty, and recognises the importance of this work as it is estimated that 37% of people in Angus are living in fuel poverty.
