Funding for Yorkhill MediCinema
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Yorkhill MediCinema on receiving a donation from Aberdeen Asset Management; recognises that the charity provides cinema screening for patients in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow; understands that the funds will allow the cinema to screen two shows a week for the next month; believes that the cinema experience provides stimulation, social engagement and relaxation and the chance to enjoy quality time with loved ones while remaining safe in hospital at a time when it is needed most; appreciates what it considers the admirable donation and the commendable work of the Yorkhill MediCinema to improve the lives of children in the hospital, and wishes it continued success.
