Duloch Pupils Walk to Victory
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Duloch Primary School in Dunfermline on its third place position during Active Travel Month in October 2015; understands that October was International Walking Month and that the school took part in the Walk Once a Week Scotland project, competing with other schools across the country; commends the school on what it considers its excellent overall position and on achieving the top spot on three occasions during the competition; welcomes Fife Council’s use of the Scottish Government’s Smarter Choices, Smarter Places funding to encourage 40 schools across Fife to take part, and hopes that the project will contribute to a healthier school population across Scotland.
