Congratulations to Disabled Deeside
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeenshire West charity, Disabled Deeside, on receiving £13,250 from the Banchory Summer Marquee Ball fundraiser; recognises what it considers the great work that the volunteers do to provide disabled people with the opportunity to ride in the countryside on horseback; understands that the money will be used to support general upkeep of the charity, which includes the cost of hiring horses, providing insurance, replacing outdated riding helmets and obtaining a machine to help hoist people to the level of the animals, and wishes the charity well in its future work.
