Ayrshire College Wins Scottish Qualifications Authority Star Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates everyone at Ayrshire College on their accomplishments and hard work, which it believes has been marked by winning three SQA Star Awards; understands that the college won in all of the categories it was nominated for and was also highly commended; understands that the winner of Candidate of the Year was Stephen Wilson, a student of sport and fitness, Champion of the Year was John McTaggart, the curriculum manager, and the Innovation Award was given to the Sport and Fitness Team and students; understands that the partnership with NHS Ayrshire and Arran and Police Scotland was highly commended in the Innovation Award category; believes that these awards are well deserved and reflect the dedication and significant achievements of Ayrshire College’s staff and students, and commends the college for what it considers its commitment to excellence.
