Celebration of the Festival of Chanukah
The motion
That the Parliament wishes a Happy Chanukah to Jewish people throughout Scotland; recognises the tradition of Chanukah as a celebration of overcoming challenges and a time of rejoicing for community, friends, family and freedom; further recognises the important symbolism of the Chanukah light as a light overcoming darkness and as a symbol of liberty and strength, and wishes everybody a Happy Chanukah with family and friends.
