Activate for Success in North Glasgow

The motion

That the Parliament notes the success of the 26 students from north Glasgow who took part in the Activate Course, which was organised by the University of Glasgow; notes that the course is designed to develop community activists; considers that the participation of a diverse range of people drawn from the tenants, board and staff of ng Homes, community organisations, including the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and members of the refugee and asylum seeker community, is particularly welcome; recognises what it sees as the enthusiasm and commitment of the tutors; congratulates the participants on completing the course, and wishes them well for the future.
